Should you buy property in the 'winner's curse' phase of the land cycle?

Things are heating up into 2025.

 

The Fed cut rates by 50 basis points this week. It was more than expected—but we know the outcome. And the timing is vital.

 

We’re heading for a likely boom through 2025, right on cue for the land cycle’s final year (or so) termed the “winner's curse” by Harrison.

 

Typically, it marks the most bullish years in the land market prior to a sudden and dramatic collapse into 2028.

 

Lower mortgage rates in the US - dipping to 6.09% (from around 8% at the peak) - will entice buyers back into the market.
